1/4W to 10W Metal Oxide Film Fixed Resistor, Axial Resistor, Through Hole
Structure:
1.ZENITHSUN metal oxide film resistor is fixed value, axial resistor. It is made of ceramic rod that is coated with a thin film of metal oxides, such as tin oxide.
2.On both ends of metal oxides thin film a metal cover is pressed with the connection leads.
3.The desired resistance is achieved by cutting a spiral shaped slot in the thin oxide metal layer.
4.ZENITHSUN MOF resistor is covered with several coating layers that are baked individually. The coating protects against moisture and mechanical stresses.
5.The resistor value is marked by color code bands.
Feature:
1.Stability properties
2.Withstand high temperatures
3.Low inductance.
4.Low noise.
Metal oxide film resistors exceed the performance of metal file and carbon film resistors for the following properties: power rating, voltage rating, overload capabilities, surge capacity, and high temperature operation.
Application:
The typical uses for ZENITHSUN metal oxide film resistors are in high voltage and high temperature applications. Operating voltages up to 15 kV with a nominal temperature of 350 °C are feasible for carbon film resistors.. Example uses include high voltage power supplies, radars, x-rays, and lasers.
